Quick thing on Kaleb Canales - He used to sleep at the practice facility because he didn’t want to miss a player coming in at night #blazers
Big changes in PDX. No more McMillian, no more #1 overall pick, and the starting small-forward and center just got traded to New Jersey and Houston. I’m glad to see the Blazers blow this team up, but I really wish it would have been Felton and Crawford that had been dealt. Either way, good moves for the Blazers in that they are now flushed with cap space for next year (to sign Batum and a big free-agent) and may have a couple of high draft picks to work into a trade or use to get some exciting young players. It’s all about next year now.
The Greg Oden era comes to a close in Portland. He didn’t quite reach his championship goal, did he?
Coach Nate got the ax today, let go by the Blazers at the trade deadline. I think he’s a really good coach who took to much of the blame for the Blazers play this season. But with the lack of energy they’ve been playing with lately, he probably had to go. I’m sure he’ll get another coaching job whenever he’s ready to get back at it.
in·de·ci·sive/ˌindiˈsīsiv/ Adjective: Not settling an issue: “an indecisive battle”. (of a person) Not having or showing the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively. Dwight Howard.
I bet he’ll be in New Jersey sooner than later.
Ricky Rubio is doing just fine.
Bye-bye Mike D’Antoni. The chaos of this Blazers season is only matched by the chaos of this NY Knicks season. As rumors swirl about Jamal Crawford heading the to the T-Wolves in a 3-Way for Steve Blake (yikes!) maybe Portland can steal a win in NYC.
MUST WATCH!
Aw man. Ricky Rubio done for the year with a torn acl. What a bummer for the T-Wolves who were playing so well with him. Time to see if K-Love can carry this team to a playoff spot. Not gonna be easy now. Sad face.
